Tennis star and cutie pie, Elena Dementieva, of Russia, continues to cruise through her matches at the 2008 U.S. Open. Her latest assault was on 15th ranked Patty Schnyder, of Switzerland.

Elena, ranked 7th in the world, won a back-and-forth match against Dinara Safina to lead the Russians to triple medals in the 2008 Olympic women’s singles. Elena took the Gold, Dinara Safina the Silver, and Vera Zvonareva the Bronze. It is the first tennis podium sweep in 100 years.

Caroline Wozniacki wins 1st round at 2008 Olympics

Eighteen year-old Danish cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki, has won her 1st round in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Caroline, ranked 22 in the world, easily defeated 12th ranked fellow cutie pie, Daniela Hantuchova, of Slovakia, 6-1, 6-3.

Way to go Caroline. Keep it up and get a medal!
