It was a tough day for 12th ranked Russian tennis cutie pie, Anna Chakvetadze as she lost in the first round of the 2008 WTA Zurich Open being played in Zurich, Switzerland Oct. 13-19.
Wozniacki retires from match in 2nd round
Danish tennis cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki, retired from her match in the 2nd round of the WTA Tour Ladies Kremlin Cup played Oct. 6-12, 2008 in Moscow, Russia. Wozniacki had lost the first set 4-6, and was down 2-3 when she withdrew from the match. She was playing No. 13 Nadia Petrova from Russia. Petrova lost 6-4, 4-6, 6-7 (6-8) to fellow Russian, Elena Dementieva, in the Quarterfinals.
Dementieva exits in Semifinals.
Russian cutie pie, Elena Dementieva, was the 3rd seed in the WTA Tour Ladies Kremlin Cup played in Moscow, Russia, Oct 6-12, 2008. She was defeated in the Semifinals by No. 1 ranked Jelena Jankovic.
Hantuchova out in 2nd round
Daniela Hantuchova, tennis cutie pie from Slovakia, lost bad in the 2nd round of the WTA Tour Ladies Kremlin Cup in Moscow, Russia which was played Oct 6-12, 2008.
Ivanovic loses 1st match one more time
My favorite tennis cutie pie, Serbian Ana Ivanovic, is having a bad time on the tennis circuit lately. She was seeded 4th in the WTA Tour Ladies Kremlin Cup played in Moscow, Russia, Oct. 6-12. After a Bye into the 2nd round, she lost her 1st match to unseeded Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia.
Wozniacki wins AIG Japan Open
Caroline Wozniacki, tennis cutie pie from Denmark, sailed through the 2008 WTA Tour AIG Japan Open Tennis Championships played Sep. 29 - Oct 5 in Tokyo, Japan.
Maria Kirilenko wins Hansol Korea Open
Russian tennis cutie pie, Maria Kirilenko, is shown here with her championship trophy from the Hansol Korea Open on Sept. 28, 2008. With this win, Kirilenko added to her previous singles titles this year. She won the Estoril and Barcelona championships earlier this year, and has five WTA titles to her name.
Ivanovic ousted in Quarterfinals
Serbian sexy tennis cutie pie, Ana Ivanovic, is out of the 2008 WTA Tour China Open in Beijing, China. She was defeated in the Quarterfinals by 30th ranked Zheng Jie of China, 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, 4-6.
Hantuchova beaten by Jankovic
Daniela Hantuchova shows that sweat counts for something. At least it makes the photo a little more interesting. However, whatever sweating she did in this practice session wasn’t enough to beat Jelena Jankovic in the 2008 WTA Tour China Open held Sept. 22-28 in Beijing, China. Hantuchova lost the Quarterfinal match 5-7, 1-6.
