Elena Dementieva has not dropped a set in this tournament through her first four matches. She defeated No. 100 ranked Tatjana Malek, No. 55 ranked Gisela Dulko, No. 24 ranked Amelie Mauresmo, and No. 39 ranked Sorana-Mihaela Cirstea.

Hantuchova gets beat in Quarterfinals

Chakvetadze out in 2nd round

Wozniacki through Semifinals

Ivanovic loses in the Semifinals

Wozniacki had lost the first set 4-6, and was down 2-3 when she withdrew from the match. She was playing No. 13 Nadia Petrova from Russia. Petrova lost 6-4, 4-6, 6-7 (6-8) to fellow Russian, Elena Dementieva, in the Quarterfinals.
