Caroline Wozniacki into 2nd round at Wimbledon

Patty Schnyder out after 1st round at Wimbledon

Patty lost the first set 4-6, but was able to come back to win the second set 6-3. The final set was all Dellacqua, who won 1-6.

Maria Kirilenko loses 1st round at Wimbledon

This is a disappointing showing for Maria, especially following her recent championship at Barcelona just last week. In Maria’s defense, Dushevina is ranked # 63 in the world, so she is not a bad player. Maybe next time, Maria!
