Elena Dementieva makes it to 3rd round at Wimbledon

Elena Dementieva, a Russian cutie pie, has made it to the third round of Wimbledon. She defeated 19-year-old Timea Bacsinszky of Switzerland in a hard-fought 3-set match.
Elena lost the first set 4-6. She then came back winning the final two sets 6-3, 6-3. Bacsinszky is ranked # 71 in the world, so this was a good win for Elena.
She will now play 39th ranked Gisela Dulko of Argentina. Dulko has played four years at Wimbledon, reaching the 3rd round twice. This will be a tougher challenge for Elena, but I’m thinking she is up to the task. Go Elena!
