Tenth seed, Daniela Hantuchova, a cutie pie from Slovakia, is shown her returning a serve in her 2nd round match at Wimbledon. Daniela lost the 3-set match 3-6, 6-4, 1-6 to 18-year-old Alisa Kleybanova of Russia. After losing the 1st set, Daniela pulled out the 2nd set, but seemed to run out of gas for the 3rd.
In Daniela’s defense, Kleybanova, even though she is only 18 years old, is ranked # 42 in the world. So Kleybanova is a good tennis player. Daniela, ranked 12th, should have won, but the matches don’t always turn out the way the ranking would indicate. That’s why they play the matches!
