Danish cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki, reacts after beating top-seed Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia on Wednesday, June 18, during the 2nd round of the Eastbourne International Women’s Open in Eastbourne, England. Caroline defeated the top seed, 6-2, 6-2. That was a great win for the 17-year-old, and should be a confidence booster going into Wimbledon next week.
Caroline played Tzvetana Pironkova in the 1st round, defeating her 6-3, 6-2. Unfortunately she lost in the quarterfinals to Australian, Samantha Stosur, 6-7 (3-7), 4-6. Even with that loss, she should be ready for Wimbledon after such a great win over Kuznetsova.
