Ana Ivanovic becomes # 1

My favorite cutie pie, Ana Ivanovic has moved into the number one world ranking spot as of June 9. What a week she had - winning the 2008 French Open on Sunday, her first Grand Slam title, then gaining the # 1 position in the world for the first time in her career. Wow!
Ana was ranked 4th at the end of 2007, but has steadily climbed to the top this year. I expect her to stay there a while. She has been playing great, and looking even greater. She’s number one in my book!
