Elena Dementieva to semifinals

Cutie pie, Elena Dementieva has reached the semifinals of the 2008 WTA Qatar Total German Open. Seventh seeded Elena defeated 4th seed Jelena Jankovic in a 3-set match, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Way to go Elena.
She will next face the winner of the Agnes Szavay - Ana Ivanovic match. As of this writing they had split sets with Agnes winning the first set 6-3, and Ana the second at 6-4. If Ana wins the match, that would put two cutie pies against each other in the semifinals.
The other semifinal match has 13th seed Dinara Safina, who defeated Serena Williams, against unseeded Victoria Azarenka.
