Elena Dementieva into 3rd round

Cutie pie, Elena Dementieva is into the 3rd round of the 2008 WTA Qatar Total German Open Tennis Tournament. Berlin, Germany is hosting this tournament May 5-11.
Elena is seeded 7th. She had a bye into the 2nd round where she easily defeated Katerina Bondarenko 6-1, 6-2. She will now face unseeded Vera Dushevina in the 3rd round.
Other cutie pies playing in this tournament include:
- Ana Ivanovic who is seeded # 2. Ana has made it into the 3rd round and will face Sybille Bammer.
- Anna Chakvetadze who was seeded 6th, but was defeated in the 2nd round by Victoria Azarenka 6-1, 6-7, 4-6.
- Patty Schnyder who was seeded 9th but was beaten by Vera Dushevina 2-6, 3-6.
- Tatiana Golovin who was unseeded but lost in the first round to fellow cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki.
- Caroline Wozniacki who was unseeded, defeated fellow cutie pie Tatiana Golovin in the 1st round, then lost to Gisela Dulko in the 2nd round.
- Nicole Vaidisova who was beaten in the 1st round by Gisele Dulko.
- Maria Kirilenko who has made it into the 3rd round. She will face 4th seed Jelena Jankovic which will probably be a tough match.
