Patty Schnyder loses in final

Well, unfortunately cutie pie Patty Schnyder’s run came to an end at the Bangalore finals. She lost to Serena Williams 5-7, 3-6 on Sunday.
Williams seemed to dominate the final with powerful serves and groundstrokes. Patty committed several unforced errors in trying to hit deep and keep Williams at the baseline.
Patty had a good tournament, even though she lost this final match. Runner-up is better than 26 of the other players did in this tournament. Way to go, cutie pie.
Patty will next play in Miami beginning on March 24th. She had some good wins in Bangalore to build on for her next matches. I think she’ll be tough in Miami. Watch for updates.
